- One shot scene: I spent a lot of time working on the camera in this game to give player a complete cinematic experience. The entire game is a one shot scene right from beginning till the end. The camera has cinematic mode for opening/ending; In-game mode for dynamically follow the player and cut scene mode for in-game cut scene. The leaf from the tree at beginning is the same leaf in cut scene with animations and the same leaf at the end with blended texture.
- Weather transition: Since I wanted to have this continuous gameplay experience, I couldn't switch scene in the game. However our story required two weather conditions, so I also did a dynamic weather transition in this game that changed environment from sunshine to raining day. I used blended skybox, and scripted environment lighting, camera bloom effect and particle system to achieve this effect.
